Editorial Policy

SubsHub sells subscriptions and also publishes guides about them. That is a conflict of interest. This page sets out how it is handled, so you can judge the guides for yourself.

Who writes the guides

Guides are written and maintained by SubsHub as a business, not by a named individual expert. There is no pretend author byline and no invented credentials, because inventing them would be the first thing to distrust. What SubsHub does have is the thing this market is short of: it handles these plans daily and sees which ones break, which activations fail, and which questions buyers ask after paying. That operational experience is what the guides are built on.

Where the facts come from

Platform pricing, plan tiers, device limits and feature lists come from the platform’s own pages, help centres and terms of service. Where an official source exists, it is used in preference to any secondary source. Affiliate blogs and aggregator sites are not treated as sources of fact, because a large share of the subscription pricing content published in India is copied between them without anyone checking the original.

Where a number cannot be verified from a primary source, the guide says so rather than presenting an estimate as a fact.

How prices are handled

Two kinds of price appear on this site, and they behave differently. SubsHub prices are pulled from the store whenever a page is generated — the tables on category pages, product pages and the price list cannot go stale, because there is no second copy of the number to fall behind. Platform prices quoted inside a guide are static text, and were correct on the date shown on that guide.

Streaming and AI pricing in India changes several times a year. A guide older than its review date should be read as a guide to how the plans differ, not as today’s price list. Price-sensitive guides are reviewed on a rolling basis, with pricing and AI-tool guides reviewed most often because they change most often. Educational guides that explain how something works are reviewed less frequently, because the underlying explanation does not move.

Comparisons and recommendations

Comparison guides are written to help someone choose, which sometimes means recommending against a purchase. Several guides on this site say plainly that a free tier is enough, that a laptop probably came with a Windows licence already, or that a subscription is not worth paying for unless a specific condition applies. Those conclusions stay even when they cost a sale.

Competitor plans and prices are never invented or guessed. Where a guide compares SubsHub pricing against a platform’s official price, both figures are labelled for what they are, and no inflated list price is used to manufacture a discount.

Commercial disclosure

SubsHub earns money when you buy a plan from it. Every guide sits on a store, links to products, and is written by the seller. Nothing on this site is a paid placement by a third party, and no platform pays for coverage or influences what a guide says — SubsHub has no commercial relationship with any of the platforms it writes about. It is an independent reseller, not a partner or an agent, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Reviews

SubsHub does not publish invented customer reviews, and does not emit star ratings in structured data for products that have none. Reviews will appear when real buyers leave them, and no rating will ever be manufactured to fill the gap. A review given in exchange for a discount or any other benefit would be labelled as such.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, it gets fixed rather than removed. Email contact@subshub.in with the page and the error. Substantive corrections — a wrong price, a wrong device limit, a wrong claim about how a plan works — are made to the page itself, and the review date is updated.

Use of AI

Drafting assistance is used in producing guides. Every published guide is reviewed against primary sources before it goes live, and against SubsHub’s own operational experience of the plans it sells. Responsibility for what is published rests with SubsHub either way.
